Since I have been living independently I’ve definitely been caught out by a few things that were passed on in school. Things like estimated bills which are a lot lower than actual bills that leave you with a dent in your bank account and it’s been important lesson for me to learn the channels to challenge such decisions. If it wasn’t for the free training support of the Prince’s Trust my life would have been very different, I’ve needed my fair share of mental health support but it’s all about knowing where to look!

When I was 21 years old I was supported by the Prince’s Trust on the Team programme which really helped with my confidence and employability skills to gain employment. It was an incredible experience. Now I’m fortunate enough to work for them helping other young people in the same way.
